“The Snug is unique. The kitchen, living and dining area are all in one room but the space has been really well laid out with everything you need for your stay. The range of kitchen equipment available was great. The barbecue out on the patio area makes up for no cooker should you wish to cook. The bathroom was perfect, with an easily controllable shower and hot water aplenty. The bedroom is a great size with plenty of drawer space. Views from the patio over the loch were wonderful.”

The snug is perfectly sized and practical for a couple. The location is perfect for lots of local walks and lovely views over the loch.

Lovely situation with an elevated position allowing views across the Clyde towards Greenock and Gourock and up Loch Long towards Finnart and beyond. Easy access to all the Cowal peninsula and further afield. Isle of Bute is accessible by the Colintraive ferry. If you have a dog, plenty of places to exercise them within easy reach. Be prepared for a different pace of life – everyone over there lives life in the slow lane.

“We stayed in this lovely snug for a week was very clean everything was provided what you would need towels kitchen equipment etc, we found a lovely place 10mins drive called The Ardentinny well worth a visit if you like walking, would definitely recommend if you want a nice quiet getaway. ”

“A nice little place if you are used to caravan / motor home living (which we are) otherwise a bit small and not really suitable for a dog too. Cooking facilities basic but I did learn to use an air fryer. Great cafe down the road though if you don’t want to cook.”
