Blairmore is approximately 1.5 hours’ travelling distance from both Glasgow and Prestwick International Airports
By Road
From the South, exit the M74 at junction 4. Follow signs for Glasgow centre (M8). Continue on the M8 to Greenock and follow signs to Gourock (27 miles from Glasgow). Dunoon is served by the Western ferry link at Gourock (McInroy’s Point) for a 20 minute crossing. Alternatively take a scenic drive via the Erskine Bridge and Loch Lomond National Park to approach Dunoon by road (70 miles from Glasgow).
By Rail
There are regular trains from Glasgow Central Station to Gourock. Trains connect with the Cowal Ferry service to Dunoon which runs every 30 minutes. Catch 489 bus from Dunoon towards Ardentinny and alight at Blairmore.
By Bus
TMcGill’s Buses run a Clyde Flyer service to Largs from Buchanan Street Bus station. Get off at McInroy’s Point and then board the passenger/car ferry to Hunters Quay. Catch the 489 bus from Dunoon towards Ardentinny and alight at Blairmore.
